what is a Chamber of Commerce. We prepared this summary which explains
the purposes of the Chamber of Commerce of Haute-Matawinie:

PURPOSES OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
GROUP TOGETHER the leaders of its territory interested to work on
the economic, civil and social well-being of the environment and on
the development of its resources.
DEVELOP a positive approach of the realities and the people, develop
attitudes of coverage, respect for the individuals, the attitudes
of opening, reception and coexistence in the respect for the differences.
CREATE A CLIMATE convenient to the development, to the innovation
and to the investment in the industrial, commercial and tourist branches.
SUPPORT morally, technically and financially the members of its territory.
HIGHLIGHT the successes of the group and the individuals.
GIVE ITSELF A HAND and establish a collective force.
HOW TO TAKE RISKS calculated at the right time.
TAKE ACTION to answer the compatible collective aspiration its territory.

Every business or individual can participate in the support of the
actions of the Chamber of Commerce of Haute-Matawinie as well as in
the pooling of the resources of the environment.
We remind you that the amassed sums are dedicated to the diverse
activities of dialogue and touristic, industrial and commercial development
of our territory including Saint-Zénon, Saint-Michel-des-Saints,
Manawan and the T.N.O. Matawinie.
At the inscription of a new membership in the Chamber of Commerce
of Haute-Matawinie, you receive a certificate, which we invite you
to show in the business. Also, a self-adhesive label to be posted
on the door of your business to incite people to buy locally, a lapel
badge of the Chamber of Commerce and finally, a membership card.
By the fact, the members are entitled to certain privileges
- Discount during advertisement in the bulletin
- Discount during advertisement in the phone book
- Discount during advertisement on place mats
- Reduction of rate with the credit cards Visa and Mastercard as well
as on the terminals of selling --point

- $0.02 discount of the liter at Shell (a minimum of purchase is required)
- 3 % Discount or $0,02 of the liter at Imperial Oil (Esso) (a minimum
of purchase is required)
- Cellular fixed price with Bell Mobilité and discount on the
services of a phone conference Bell
- Collective insurance at competitive prices for small and medium-sized
firms (1 employee and -----more)
- Service of envelopes for Express post sendings (Post Canada) at
a reduced rate
In our offices
- Service of fax and photocopies at rates reduced to our offices
- Service of subscription to Loto-Matique (Loto-Québec)
Furthermore, in our premises, is situated the information desk to
the services of the members, which groups together leaflets and business
cards of our members. During 2002, 1 862 visitors came to inquire
services and activities going on in region. We would be happy to install
your leaflets and gatefolds or your business cards in our display
stands there. You have only to bring us your business cards or your
leaflets and gatefolds and we shall take care to do the promotion.
If you find important to participate in the support of your chamber
of commerce, you have only to fill the form and to return it to us
completed and you will part of a big family of 140 members.
Annual price list(rate): - for company with non-lucrative purpose:
$50.00 + tax = $57.51 annual Price list(Rate): - for company with
profits: $125.00 + taxes = $143.78
Do not forget, the success of your Chamber is directly proportional
in the interest which you show it!
